VB City FC Announce 2018-2019 Full Year Academy Tryouts
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA (April 5, 2018) – Virginia Beach City FC will offer Open Tryouts giving players an opportunity to earn a spot in the Full-Year Academy for the 2018-2019 soccer year. Tryouts will be held at the Virginia Beach City FC home training ground at Norfolk Collegiate School Athletic Complex. The Full-Year Academy is available for boys and girls in the 2010-2000 birth years.
As the official Hampton Roads Soccer Affiliate of D.C. United, the Full Year Academy will also provide identification and development opportunities with D.C. United Academy.
Program Details
• 10 month developmental and identification program for age groups U9 to U18 – Boys and Girls.
• Team based appropriate match schedule and program.
• Minimum of three training sessions per week “in season".
• Minimum of three tournaments. Additional tournaments may be scheduled on a per team basis.
• Highest level competition, coaching, and facilities with minimum standards.
• Clear player pathway from youth to professional. VB City FC is the Official Hampton Roads Affiliate of D.C. United.
• Exposure to U.S. National Team youth staff or scouts through US Soccer Training Centers.
• Connection with Virginia Beach City FC First Team players and coaches.
