Virginia Beach City FC Announces Partnership With Locally-Owned Pretty Ugly Distribution Craft Beer
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA (May 31, 2018) Pretty Ugly Distribution, a distributor of several independent and craft beers across Hampton Roads has joined as an official sponsor of Virginia Beach City FC.
The company, owned and operated by Aaron Childers, will sponsor the new Beer Garden inside the Virginia Beach Sportsplex, located behind the Southwest End Zone. The beer garden also features covered seating with brand new tables, stools and lounge furniture provided by KETTLER. The area is just a few feet away from the field, so guests can enjoy their beer and the action at the same time.
Pretty Ugly Distribution is located in Chesapeake, Va. and distributes the product for the following local breweries — Big Ugly Brewing Co., Benchtop Brewing Co., Rip Rap Brewing Co., Bearded Bird Brewing Co., The Oozlefinch Craft Brewery, Bull Island Brewing Co., MoMac Brewing Co. and the Brick and Mortar Brewing Co.
To celebrate the Pretty Ugly Distribution’s partnership with Virginia Beach City FC, several players and staff will visit two of Pretty Ugly Distribution’s breweries — Big Ugly Brewing Co. in Chesapeake and Benchtop Brewing Co. in Norfolk — on Saturday, June 2 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. VB City FC players and staff will meet with guests at each of the two breweries and sign autographs for fans. VB City FC will also hold a raffle at each of the two locations where fans can win two Beer Garden tickets for Sunday’s friendly vs. DC United’s U-23 squad.
Virginia Beach City FC has an exciting weekend approaching. The Boys in Blue will play two matches this weekend, hosting Charlottesville Alliance FC on Friday, June 1 and DC United’s U-23 team on Sunday, June 3. You can buy tickets to either of the events here.
