Soccer Team Coach

Reports to: Regional Sports Director	Location: Hampton Roads Virginia
Hours: As needed	Salary: $15-50 per Session
	Department: Development Academy

 

Soccer Team Coaches are responsible for coming prepared to coach their designated program, provide a fun atmosphere for participants and parents, and fulfill the needs of the club. Team Coaches should provide a safe and enjoyable sporting experience while instructing individual and team game skills, sportsmanship, and fair play.

Responsibility:

• Coach your assigned group on the proper skills in soccer.
• Come prepared with lesson plans for your soccer program.
• Provide a safe learning environment.
• Follow the mission of the MLDA.
• Transport required equipment to fields as needed and set up.
• Facilitate program needs.
• Additional tasks assigned by the Regional Sports Director for the success of the program.
  

Qualifications:

• A Strong understanding of the sport of soccer.
• A desire to work with youth.
• Positive youth interactions and role model personality.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
  

 Desired (but not required) Requirements:

• Any USSF coaching license
• 1 Year coaching youth soccer
