Overview
The creation of the Virginia Beach City FC (VB City FC) Player Development ™ system was built on the ideology that successfully bringing awareness and professionalism to the sport, specifically in Hampton Roads, Virginia, runs in parallel with the growth and success of soccer in the United States. Our Player Development system offers training and competition platforms for males and females ages 4-23 at the beginner, intermediate and elite levels.

Provide access to an appropriate environment for boys and girls of all ages and ability levels, where the balance between challenge and success promotes personal growth both on and off the field.
Virginia Beach City FC Full Year & Summer Soccer Academy
Similar to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Youth Development initiative established in 2006, requiring each MLS club to identify and develop players in their respective home territories, VB City FC also believes in providing upcoming players with professional soccer aspirations an opportunity to pursue their dreams while also continuing their education and remaining close to their family at home. The VB City FC Academy program is designed for the elite player (boys and girls), offering a year round training model and is focused on long term player development and identification at the high school, collegiate, amateur and professional levels. It is run in connection with the VB City FC NPSL (men) and WPSL (women) First Team.
Highlights:
• Over 75 players, both men and women, in our program have played for top soccer colleges in the country including:
o Old Dominion University
o University of Maryland
o University of Virginia
o Virginia Commonwealth University
o William and Mary University
• VB City FC player, Sydney Rivera signs professional contract with Orland City SC, Major League Soccer (MLS), 2014.
• NPSL Player Peter Pearson, wins NCAA I National Championship with University of Virginia (UVA), 2014.
• MLS Super Draft Selection.
• NPSL Player Combine Selections, giving exposure to Major League Soccer (MLS) and North American Soccer League (NASL) teams.
