VB City FC Women Announce 2017 WPSL Regular Season Schedule

The Colonial Conference is proud to announce their schedule for the 2017 Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) season. Washington Spirit Reserves, Braddock Road Elite, Virginia Beach City FC, Legacy 76, Fredericksburg FC, and Richmond Strikers are the members of the Colonial Conference this season.

"I'm excited about the progress of our women's program for the 2017 season." said Virginia Beach City FC VP of Operations, Brian Hinkey. "We have very exciting players coming in and I believe we will put a competitive product on the field for our fans to enjoy. The WPSL schedule will be demanding and our players will be tested against some of the top competition in the area including the Washington Spirit Reserves. As a club, we will continue to build the quality of our women's program and look forward to a great season." 

The conference will play a total of 10 games including one home and one away game for all teams. The top seeded team will advance to the WPSL Regional Playoffs.

Conference members are planning additional games, including friendlies and exhibitions. 

Fredericksburg FC, Legacy 76, and Virginia Beach City FC also have National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) teams and will have doubleheaders prior to NPSL games.
