JOÃO DOWNS RETURNS AS HEAD COACH FOR VIRGINIA BEACH CITY FC’S 2025 NPSL TEAM
Norfolk, VA (August 29th,2024) – Virginia Beach City FC is thrilled to announce that Joao Downs will be returning as the head coach for the 2025 NPSL season. This will mark Coach Downs’ second season as the head coach of the team, following a year of building and growth in the 2024 season.
Coach Downs, who brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the game, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. “I’m looking forward to another summer with the first team,” Downs said. “Last year, we didn’t achieve the results we expected; however, it was a great experience for everyone at the club. We expect to continue to build on the positives and the structure set in place last season.”
